Teachings and Sermons

This is what the website is all about. We have a huge number of tapes, both reel-to-reel and cassette, recording the anointed ministry of our brother Fred Dunn.

We want to share them with you. Please feel free to either listen online or download the files to listen later. They are big files so they take a while to download, but it enables you to listen to the word at a time or times to suit you.

If you want to hear what Mr Dunn taught on a specific subject, try the search box immediately below. We have attempted to include words and phrases in the individual sermon descriptions which give at least an indication of the content, but obviously the only way to appreciate them is to listen to them!

Fred Dunn preaching in Hyde, Manchester Sept 84

We miss out if we don’t gather together. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart. We are not doing that. Revival is rare. Survival is the word. There is a falling (Revelation 3:10). We must stay close to Jesus. We have something to share in this famine. Woe to us if we do not share what we have. It’s time to stand up and be counted. Make sure your lamps are filled with oil. Bless Him for His rebuke! It is to keep us from cooling off and drifting away.

Leeds 22nd November 1975

The Christian experience is wonderful beyond description. John 3:16. God wants me to be like Him. Matthew 7. The narrow way which leads on beyond the gate of salvation is only narrow if you want to get off it. It leads to the fulness of the Christian life. The fruit of the Spirit. God must be able to use us or we can achieve nothing for HIm. Our God will not give you a stone if you ask for bread.

Isaiah Chapter 55

Fred Dunn preaching Sheffield 6/12/97 That which is revealed is ours, that which is hidden belongs to God. Isaiah 55. We must listen diligently and fix on things that are good. An everlasting covenant. We will have to keep our side. Death is an enemy. We have life in Jesus Christ.

Proverbs Chapter 3

(Proverbs 3) Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. Wickedness abounds in the world. (Revelation 12:12) The battle is against principalities and powers. (Ephesians 6:12) Be not wise in your own eyes: Don’t despise the chastening of the Lord. We need to be like Christ. Jesus prayed that those who are His be kept from the evil one (John 17:9) We will be like Him when we see Him. Those with a pure heart will see God. Closes with reading from Romans 8.

Resting in God

(Hebrews 4:5) The needs of Christians. Why do we lack? God’s word is sharper than a two-edged sword. He knows our hearts. There is a rest for the people of God. He understands our infirmities. His rest is by faith and is for every believer. The men of God were able to abide in the rest in all situations. Too many Christians play church but they do not fool God. If you say you love Him you must mean it. Move on from milk and feed on the finest of wheat.

Feb 93 Sheffield - The Last Knock (Part One)

(Revelation 3:20) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock. Door must open from inside. When He knocks on our heart we must respond. There is a last knock. He will not always strive with us. We will still be saved but we will lack. We should abound. Lukewarm Christianity is despicable to God. (Revelation 3:16) God has left many churches. He wants us to seek Him and the gifts of the Spirit (James ch 2) Faith and works.
